Sen​ior Project Book
​
Final book for my senior thesis project – reimagining the Pruitt-Igoe site in St. Louis, Missouri. After the project was demolished forty years ago, the site was fenced off and grew into unique urban forest. Today the site is threatened by a developer who would raze the site and much of the area around it to build office parks and suburban-style housing. Is there another alternative, one that reconciles the site's infamous history and its current conditions to create a haven for the entire city? My answer was City Forest.
