I'm trying to keep up in a digital world: I am adept at using Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; proficient at AutoCAD and ArcGIS; and am currently learning SketchUp and Artlantis. (For more, see Portfolio + Other Work).

Hand Rendering

Although the world is moving increasingly towards exclusively digital media, hand rendering still lends a certain warmth and personality. I do a lot of my thinking with quick sketches and doodles, and some of my final renderings in pen and colored pencil. (For more, see Portfolio + Other Work).
Other

I believe landscape architects are designers, and design should touch everything we do.
I love photography, plants (I completed a horticultural internship at the Missouri Botanical Gardens and a Minor in Horticulture from Virginia Tech), and all things design.
