When people ask me what landscape architecture is, I always have a hard time defining it: it is a combination of urban planning, engineering, sculpture, horticulture, architecture, and so much more. So far, I've only touched the surface of what landscape architecture can do, but I hope to spend the rest of my life diving deeper into its possibilities to enrich lives and enliven cities.

I got into landscape architecture because I wanted to create gardens, but instead I have developed a passion for cities.
